Cedar Eaters Services

Environmentally-Friendly Land Restoration is Cedar Eaters Specialty

Cedar Eater employees are some of the best in the industry and many have been with the Company for numerous years. This statement holds true to not only our equipment operators but also our hand crew members. There is a mutual respect for what each member of the Cedar Eater team does and this plays a vital role in delivering a top quality service every time.  As a small, family-owned business, we put tremendous value on the customer experience. From the initial contact all the way through the project's completion, we want our customers to feel understood and taken care of by our Team. Our job supervisors are land restoration experts who walk the properties with landowners to develop an agreed "game plan" to tackle their clearing needs. This is done during our free estimate process.

Cedar Mulching

Cedar Eaters is the Texas expert in land clearing for cedar, mesquite grubbing, and brush and underbrush clearing. Our Cedar Eaters machines can obliterate standing vegetation quickly with minimal soil disturbance leaving a layer of mulching behind. The Mulching Method leaves a layer of beneficial mulch that promotes healthy habitat recovery. Mulch help prevent erosion of the soil, seals in moisture and helps desirable trees (like oaks) get the water they need to flourish. Learn more about our Mulching Method.

Mesquite Grubbing

With Cedar Eaters Mesquite Grubber, we turn a mesquite wasteland into productive grassland by grubbing your unwanted vegetation out by the root. We do this with two types of equipment.

Cedar Eaters has a large excavator with a specially patented grubbing attachment and retractable thumb for those with a large mesquite problem. If you have a small mesquite problem we attack it with a skid loader with ROOT-N-ALL™ (patent pending) grubbing attachment. Both methods are minimally invasive and are quickly becoming the ideal way to get rid of your unwanted perennial vegetation. Learn more about mesquite grubbing. .

When they aren’t working alongside one of our mulching machines they can often be found on one of Cedar Eaters smaller chipper jobs. They can perform a variety of activities from cutting underbrush(?) to promote a healthy bird habitat to hand grubbing cactus to regain old pasture land.
